ATA Local 23 and Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools would like to share that both parties have approved the Memorandum of Agreement regarding our ATA Collective Agreement.
The parties would like to thank and acknowledge the hard work of all those involved in reaching this settlement.
“The Greater St. Albert Catholic Teachers’ Negotiating Sub-committee appreciates the fellowship enjoyed throughout the bargaining process and sincerely thanks the Division for their contribution to a favourable settlement agreement. The principles of our Faith guided our negotiations and highlighted our shared values of respect for human dignity and care for the common good.”
- Negotiating Sub-Committee
“Thank you to all participants who assisted in achieving ratification. Special thanks to the ATA Local’s bargaining committee for their service to our Greater St. Albert Teachers in this process. The outcome of this process inspires all of us that we can achieve through the values of our shared Catholic faith. Also, thank you to our teachers who continue to do amazing work serving our students, families and communities.”
-Trustees Cathy Proulx and Noreen Radford
The parties are working towards finalizing the new collective agreement document to incorporate the new local terms with the mediator’s recommendations on the central agreement. They intend to distribute it soon to all members.
